How to Import Property Listings from URLs

TL;DR

Import one or multiple property listings into a portfolio by pasting listing URLs. PropWise automatically extracts and structures the property data, saving you manual entry time and reducing errors.

When to use this

Consider this workflow when:

  • You discover properties on external portals or real estate websites.
  • You wish to add multiple listings efficiently without manual data entry.
  • You’re curating a buyer-specific portfolio from various online sources.

If you’re copy-pasting details into notes or spreadsheets, this process can save time and reduce errors.

Step-by-step instructions

Option 1: Import from URLs (Best for online listings)

  1. Open the portfolio where you want to add properties.
  2. Click Import Listing.
  3. Select From URLs.
  4. Paste the listing link from property portals or real estate websites.
  5. Click Add.

PropWise automatically extracts and structures the listing data, including price, address, photos, description, and key attributes.

Option 2: Bulk URL Import (Best for rapid shortlisting)

  1. Collect all relevant listing URLs in advance.
  2. Open Import Listing → From URLs.
  3. Paste multiple links at once (one per line).
  4. Confirm the import.

All listings are added in one action, ready for review, edits, and curation.

Common issues & tips

  • Unsupported portals: Some websites may block data extraction. If a listing fails, manual entry can be used as a fallback.
  • Accuracy check: We recommend scanning imported listings for pricing, area, and description accuracy, as source data quality can vary.
  • Duplicate prevention: If the same URL was already imported in another portfolio, consider whether to reuse or re-import.
  • Performance tip: Bulk imports work best with clean URLs, so avoid tracking or shortened links.
