How to Edit a Property Listing

TL;DR

Editing a property listing lets you keep prices, descriptions, documents, and media accurate as deals evolve. In PropWise, changes are saved instantly and reflected everywhere that listing appears—no duplicates, no re-work.

When to use this

Use this whenever:

  • A price, status, or availability changes
  • You receive updated documents (floor plans, legal docs, inspections)
  • You want to refine the description after client feedback
  • You spot incorrect or outdated information

If a listing is stale, your credibility erodes. Edit early, edit often.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Open the Portfolio that contains the property.
  2. Locate the property **you want to edit and click on the **three dots menu.
  3. Select Edit.
  4. Update any field:
  • Price, size, location
  • Property description
  • Photos and documents
  1. Click Edit.

Result: The updated listing is immediately reflected for all users with access to that portfolio.

What you can edit

  • Core details: title, price, address, size, rooms, property type
  • Descriptions: buyer-facing summaries
  • Media: photos, PDFs, floor plans, reports
  • Documents: replace old files with updated versions

Common issues & tips

  • Changes not visible to buyers?

Make sure you clicked Save and refreshed the portfolio view, as well as your buyer.

  • Version confusion with documents?

Delete outdated files instead of uploading “v2 / final / final-final.pdf”.

  • Accuracy check:

After major edits, re-scan the listing as if you were the buyer. Assume nothing.

Pro tip: Treat property listings like living assets, not static records. The faster you update, the fewer clarifying messages you’ll need later.
