# What Happens When You Import the Same Listing Twice

PropWise has built-in duplicate detection. If you attempt to import a property listing that already exists in your workspace, the platform recognizes it and prevents duplication by not importing the listing. Instead of creating a second copy, PropWise links to the existing listing. This ensures one clean source of truth per property.

This behavior is particularly useful when you:
* Import listings from the **same portal URL** more than once
* Collaborate in teams where multiple agents may import the same property
